Today I had a quiet morning and went to a café to draw and work on a project. I spoke with friends over videochat and it was so nice to catch up. And then it was already 5pm: time for a second attempt for the night dive and hoping to see coral spawning. First we took turns to snorkle and see, if anything was happening. When it got dark, we went down and nothing was happening. Our instructor wrote down on her slate that she thinks, that nothing is happening today. And THEN. EVERYTHING started kind of simultanously. It wad insane. It‘s like stars in the ocean. And smoke underwater. The garden of corals were also so impressive. And I saw a gigantic red crab, a nudibranch and a white flatworm.

When we got back, some people from the dive school were making a big model of a whale shark out of wire. Tomorrow they will use paper mashee and then paint it.

I love this island.
