Returning to Bangkok made me feel like home. Maybe because it was my starting point and I went back to Bangkok to pick up my parents. It’s something about it when you walk through street that feel familiar and hold past memories. And I could remember how I felt walking these streets the first and then second time. How much I‘ve grown, what thoughts occupied my mind and how I‘ve overcome different struggles. It felt empowering.

I went to my favorite restaurant and I forgot how much I loved thai food. And I didn’t mind the intense heat of 37 degrees. The dry air. I liked it. I felt a wave of energy and happiness. I stayed the whole afternoon in one area. Saw baby tortoises in a little protected area. I talked with an old french traveler. And had a very heartfelt easter video call with my family. This whole day just made me feel so happy.

And then at 9pm I boarded the sleeper bus to the island Koh Tao where I will stay for the next 4 weeks doing a coral conservation diving program. I am very looking forward to it.
