It‘s the first time I booked such a tourist day trip since I came to South East Asia. From 7:30am to 7:30pm. It was fun and it was nice not having to think about anything and get surprised by what we are going to see.

The bus picked us up and the first stop was a (of course) huge souvenir shop with a café/bistro next to it where we spend probably like 40min. Then we cycled (10min) to a temple and had some lunch. Next: boat tour. I couldn’t get enough of the contrast between the steep stone hills covered in dark green trees and the flat, neon-green rice field. The boat drivers were paddling with their feet which I found incredibly impressive and we went swam through 2 or 3 caves. In the end, we hiked towards the top of a hill. And when I say hike, there were stairs. And it was crowed by tourists, but it didn‘t make it any less beautiful. I wished we could have stayed there longer.

Back at the hostel I was so tired, I had to convince myself not to just stay in bed. Getting food was a good decision, getting an avocado smoothie even better and the best was deciding to go for a foot massage. All in all, it was such a nice day.
