I am already thinking about extending my 4 weeks here because I absolutely love everything about this course. We have a lecture at 9:30am in the most idyllic consitions, I am talking upper level terrace with a roof, directly at the beach and a view at the calm ocean. We got a book that we can keep and take notes in. Then there is a 1h lunch break and at 12 we head out on the boat to dive. Our first dive was mostly about buoyancy control, attempting a backward frog kick and trying to draw something underwater while floating in the same position. It was not easy. I failed miserably at the frog kick, instead of backwards I was either going forward or up, or both. It‘s a mystery to me.

After the dive, I really wanted to say hello to my first dive school so I went to Tanote Bay. It was so nice seeing the beach again where I stayed with my parents in February for one week. And it felt different in a way, the sea wasn‘t rough, it felt like less people on the beach. But at the same time, so familiar. Just walking into the dive center and seeing my former instructor. He remembered me and was also v happy to see me coming back and wanting to dive. I did one fun dive, that just felt so at easy, because I didn‘t have to think about new skills and could just float and observe my surroundings. I saw again the big school of fish, which made me very happy. The visibility wasn‘t that great but I love the misty atmosphere for a change, it makes it feel special in a different way. I saw a blue dotted sting ray and some other familiar fish. This day made me so happy.
