Today we learned about the different types of invertebrates.

Flatworms for example. The weirdest creatures. Think of flying colourful carpets. And then they showed us a video of two flatworms fighting. Apparently, they always have both sex organs and then when they mate, they both try to get the other one pregnant so they are not burdened with the whole reproduction and laying eggs.

When we did the dive, we had to follow a 100m line in a zig zag and try to COUNT indicator invertebrates. My mask was filling up constantly with water, I couldnā€˜t see anything for the first 50m, I had salt water in my eyes and got very frustrated. But after a little bit of time it got better and I am happy I could see some sea cucumbers and drupellas (small sea snails).

After my dive I went to this view point restaurant, read a bit more in my coral book and met up with friends that I met in Hanoi a few weeks ago. They are a couple from germany, Max & Charlotte, very very kind people.
