My Son Sanctuary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Champa Kingdom between the 4th and 14th centuries AD, making it one of Southeast Asia's most significant archaeological sites. The sanctuary served as a religious center dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.

Fun Fact: polish architect and archeologist Kazimierz Kwiatkowski from Lublin (who studied mathematics @Jagiellonian University in Kraków, where I studied for one semester too!) is well known for his preservation and restoration work on this historical site.
