We reached the hostel close to sunset and got a little nervous because there was a NIGHT CLUB sign next to it. But luckily the night was surprisingly quiet even though it was saturday and we shared the room with maybe 15 other people.

Walking through the old town was out of this world. Small shops and restaurants everywhere and the whole town lighten up by colourful lanterns. On the small river, a dozen of small long tail boats with lanterns and in the water, swimming candles. We took many pictures and I bought like 3 beautiful dresses. I try to not buy clothes to limit my luggage, but finding dresses that I like is ridiculously close to impossible, so I didn’t think twice.

Tomorrow we are going to Hue and then take the night train to Hanoi.
