Today I rented a scooter to explore the national park. On top of the mountain there is a colonial french palace/hotel and I was curious to see it. Google showed, it would take 1h to go up there. It took me over 2h. Nearly every curve had a speed limit of 20km/h, which I followed, but everyone else was overtaking me in probably double the speed. On the way there, I saw many monkeys, actually quite big monkeys and the fog was very thick. When I reached the top, the clouds were everywhere, which meant: no view. But that was ok. I saw quite a bit on my way. And most importantly: I liked the french hotel/palace.

I returned back to my accommodation at 2pm. Initially I wanted to go to Kep in the afternoon and see the other National Park, but I had to give up that plan. I was so tired, I needed a nap.

In the evening I went into town and treated myself to some very nice seafood: oysters and scallops. One more night here and tomorrow morning I‘ll go to Phnom Penh and plan on visiting the Killing Fields before going to the airport.

P.S. This pepper here is so good, I wish I could take some packs.
