Today we learned about different fish and how to distinguish them. I still need a little bit if practice but the colourful ones I already manage quite well.

I absolutley loved the little stories about the fish and I can feel so much excitement and energy.

For example, morays and small groupers tend to be in the same area bc they help each other with food hunting (cute). Think of triggerfish as Mr. Monopoly with a top hat bc the black coloring around the mounth area looks like a mustache. Rabbit fish look like they had put in botox in their upper lip. And sweet lips look like they had put in botox in both their lips. The juvenile sweet lips also have a completely different coloring to mimic flatworms who are colorful and poisonous.

The dive was a little bit of a mess, the visibility was really awful and we lost half the group in the middle so we had to swim up to find each other. Doing a fish survey with what felt like 5m visibility also was not ideal, I saw like 3 fish. But hey! 3 fish!
